And secondly, I wish to rave on about my new favourite production of Handel's Messiah: a sacred oratorio. I have loved this gorgeous music since I was a kid, but then it was a family love, so I suppose there was no way it wasn't going to seep into my blood by osmosis. I am not a religious person, but Handel wanted to move his audience, and I was duly moved. A great deal.
