Eeeek, that was really hot but SO WRONG! :P

I know how very much [livejournal.com profile] babydracky loves Mordred (and I'm pretty sure she'll love this story) but... but... NO, Arthur/Mordred is just wrong on so many levels! D: WHAT DID HE DO TO POOR ARTHUR???

And Merlin only showed up in Arthur's dream and he knew what Mordred did with Arthur and, oh dear, that's all so sad. *sniffles*

Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful story, brilliantly written (as always, your writing is such a delight) but... I have to admit that I wasn't able to fully enjoy it. Although caring!Guinivere was very sweet in the end it would've been nicer (at least for me, the hopeless romantic) to see Merlin coming back to Camelot.

Also I'm damn curious why he left Arthur and Camelot in the first place and when he'll be back where he belongs.

Oh Arthur... ❤

Thank you for writing and sharing this story, sweetie. ❤ I'm sure our friend'll be absurdly satisfied with this. :D
I'll have to go back and read Twelve Virtues, I'm in need of some hot Pendragoncest to mend my broken heart now. And yes, I'm just so weird! :P

Oh sweetie, how on earth could I NOT like you???? You're one of the loveliest persons I ever had the pleasure to meet, I could never stop loving you! Even if your Mordred is going to kill my Arthur one day. *heavy sigh*

And at least I have to admit that Mordred's way of seducing Arthur was damn hot. Oh, the naughty little druidboy... *grrr* :D

Awwww!
*cuddles*
Thank you, hon! You're too good to me.
I am still loved!♥♥♥ *hugs you tight*

Well... What can I say? I know Mordred will be the doom of Arthur (hey! nobody said he'd kill Arthur OO) but I do think that he'd try hard to avoid his destiny, try to be the son Arthur could have been proud of. Mordred is a good person, Destiny just chose him for a great but tragic path.

And yeah ÖÖ
We had a really naughty "little" druidboy. But, hey, can we blame him? Really? You're talking about Arthur here! I'd have been the first to jump him in this forest! :p:p:p

Oh dear! Obviously my writerly powers are failing me lately... :-) I wonder if I'll manage to convince anyone at all that this wasn't actually 'SO WRONG!'...? Probably not! But then I do think our shiny new Merlin universe is playing with the notion of destiny, and the dragon's warnings about Mordred (if he's even telling the truth anyway) can be considered as open to interpretation. The thing I love about the Arthurian universe is that it's mostly about wonderful people who try so very hard to do the right and noble thing, but end up failing to one extent or another. BabyD made me see that that also applies to Mordred.

OK, I shall quit pontificating now! :-)

Thank you for your comment, hon. I'm glad to know you found it hot even though it was SO WRONG. :-D And I'm glad you liked Gwen. Yes, I thought the Merlin side of this did belong in a separate story, if anywhere (I don't intend to write it). I thought it better to leave Arthur a bit confused and not really knowing what's going on. Sorry that just adds to the heartbreak!

Hurrah for Pendragoncest! I hope that made you feel better, my sweet. I love your Arthur so much, and I love you that much, too. ♥♥♥

Ma petite puce!! ÖÖ

Thank you so much for that beautiful story! I so like it. It is so beautiful, tender and "wrong" in the only heartbreaking way Mordred can be.
I know Mordred can be/looks wrong but with reasons and because, like anyone, he needs to feel loved and comforted.

I love how Arthur would do anything to fing Merlin, how he knows what is happening between Guinevere and Lancelot but being kind and generous about it. It is the only I could agree with their relationship.
Your Guinevere was lovely, especially at the end. She is a really good friend to Arthur and he needs a Queen who will be here for him, supporting him.

Mordred was beautiful, puce.
I really like how you wrote him. You definitely made him justice.
And I like the twisted way things have to be between Arthur and Mordred. Mordred did sound honest with Arthur and, he, he would have believe him and try to make Mordred's doom not happening. Sad, Merlin has his way to feel/know/foresee and thinks/knows Arthur should stay away from Mordred.
It certainly was a mistake when, we, readers read it but you actually knows?

I just feel so bad for Arthur for subduing to Mordred because he needed the comfort and then not being sure anymore that he is that wonderful, pure and kind-hearted king.
And then for Mordred because, once again, he was left behing TOT *pets her Mordred*

I wish we know why Merlin got away and how he'll come back. But this is another story! ;)

You definitely wrote a so beautiful text, ma puce, and I really don't know how I could ever thank you properly. You made me so happy♥♥♥
♥Love you♥

My pretty little sweetpea!

Aw, I am so relieved and happy that you thought the fic was beautiful, and that you liked my take on your Mordred. I agree with you that he becomes a very interesting character if he starts out in a good place, with good intentions, and has good reasons for ending up somewhere that proves to be bad - whether he kills Arthur or somehow causes his death despite himself, it's not so interesting if he's just a one-note villain wearing a black hat. And I have enjoyed your own fic, in which Arthur, despite hearing and understanding the warnings, decides to try averting that destiny by 'keeping his friends close and his enemies closer', to try bringing Mordred over to his side, earning his good will. Even though it may still all go horribly wrong, of course!

I'm glad you actually liked my Gwen and Lancelot! This is how I see it playing out. I suppose my formative influences were 'The Once and Future King' novel and the 'Camelot' film - where, yes, they are all trying to do the right thing, they all love each other so much, yet the romance happens and ends up dooming them all. I suppose that in our own 'Merlin' universe, Arthur at least has his own True Love in Merlin - it's more heartbreaking still when he's on his own.

I'm glad you felt Mordred felt like he was being honest with Arthur. That's how I'd intended it - that they met each other honestly for these moments, though far more honestly and openly than Arthur wanted to be.

Anyway, that's enough rambling from me! I am so glad you like this humble fic I wrote for you, mon cher...

with love from your little performing flea ♥♥♥

I think that unfortunately in all of texts Mordred is poorly described. You do know that I don't like a villain to be villain, all black, only because. This is ridiculous. And for me, Mordred is even far from being a villain, he is an anti-hero. I like the texts where he fights to be a good guy, to prove he is one to be trusted and whatever he does, he is dogged by bad luck. Destiny is just keep going at him.

I can understand Guinevere adultery only if Arthur isn't in love with her. He can love her, care for her, but not being in love. Then I would understand that he would agree to not look at the adultery. But I do prefer Bedwyn than Lancelot as the Queen lover. (I don't like Lancelot... lalalalalala xD)

I really don't know how to thank you for this beautiful text!
♥♥♥
